There aren’t many ingredients in the world that have as many benefits as cayenne pepper. We all know about turmeric and how it’s a superfood, but who knew that cayenne is in the same category?  

 

Benefits of Cayenne Pepper

Cayenne pepper is a type of red hot chilli pepper (yes, this was on purpose). It’s full of capsaicin, a natural pain reliever.

Fun fact: the spicier the pepper is, the more capsaicin it has. Cayenne is also anti inflammatory, full of vitamins A, B, and C, boosts your metabolism and immune system, increases blood circulation, and even thins out the mucus in your nasal passages to help you breathe better.

Cayenne pepper is one of those spices that can transform a bland meal into something rich with flavor and deliciousness. It’s not only healthy but it really does make everything taste better. Try adding some to your eggs for breakfast, to your ordinary routine lunch in the afternoon, or experiment with a mexican hot chocolate for dessert. You’ll thank us later!
